Just One Life
After a bout with Triple Negative Breast Cancer and beating the odds that were stacked against me, I made the startling realization that we really do only have just this one life – so why aren’t we out there; running like hell and chasing our dreams?
I have been in two car accidents, hit by a small pick-up truck crossing a street in Mexico, and so far have kicked Triple Negative Breast Cancer to the curb. Survivor may be an understatement.
I believe I have been asked to be a champion for all those who have fought cancer and lost; for those who fight cancer and are too weak to fight; and those who fought and survived. I am a champion in that there is LIFE after cancer.
Making connections is, I believe, one of the most important things we can do as human beings. Having conviction is another. Combine them and you have me.

Don’t ask yourself what the world needs, ask yourself what makes you come alive. And then go and do that. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.
